BYU Race Day has arrived

Race Day(s?) has arrived!

45 mins to go, feeling the fear of the unknown now

There are a lot of uncertainties coming up in this race, but one thing that is certain is that I’ll be eating an ungodly amount of food, easily the most I’ve ever eaten, during this race.

If anyone saw the shopping basket for this one, the last thing they’d think I’d be in is health and fitness…

I’m pretty confident I’ve enough food for the next 24 hours… it’s whether the mind and body are willing to go that distance. And there’s only one way to find out.

The plan is to walk the incline, at a slow, steady pace on the flats and downhill, get back in for 50 mins, food and back out again until the wheels fall off.
