Paleo Base Pizza

Guilt free, tasty Pizza on a Saturday evening? What more could you want! Making the base of a Paleo Pizza is usually tricky but follow the video and you won’t have a problem at all!

All you need:
3 Eggs
1 Cauliflower
Ground Almonds
Tomato Paste
Grated Cheese
Your favourite Pizza Toppings

Don’t be afraid to add plenty of Ground Almonds and Basil. Too little and your pizza base will take like a giant cauliflower… and you do not want to spend 30 minutes cooking a giant cauliflower.

Break one cauliflower into little pieces before blending or grating them. In a big bowl, add 3 eggs to a cup of ground almonds (the more the crunchier your base will be) along with your basil and beat the eggs thoroughly. add in your cauliflower mix before spreading it on to a cooking sheet, sprayed with coconut oil. The thinner your pizza, the less likely it is to break!

While your pizza base is in the over for 15 minutes, this gives you time to prep your toppings, whatever they may be. After 15 minutes, take out your base, add your tomato paste followed by your cheese (not strictly Paleo but you can't have a Pizza without cheese). Add your toppings on top and stick back into the oven for 5 minutes.

Add more cheese on top for the last 5 minutes and you have a Paleo base pizza in 30 minutes! Cheaper and healthier than a pizza delivery ;)
