My background and why I can help you achieve your goals

On top of getting all my PT Qualifications through a 3 year course to start my 10 year plus journey in Health and Fitness, I have also continue to stay informed, travelling as much as I can to stay on top of everything Health & Fitness related. 

I continue to get more educated by recently completing an 18 month Strength and Conditioning course with Setanta College, working towards a BSc as well as acquiring a CPPS (Certified Physical Preparation Specialist) certification, and being listed on their exclusive Coaches database, with world renowned trainers Joe DeFranco and Jim Smith in Orlando, Florida. The CPPS course and qualification gave me the structure to train people like athletes with it being used on successful athletes in the NFL and WWE. I have also earned numerous other qualifications of the past 8 years, including my NCSC (National Certification in Strength & Conditioning) through KG Elite.

But qualifications are only pieces of paper if you do not put them to use. And that is what I have done, combining the knowledge of these courses as well as my own personal experiences in coaching to set up a step by step system to help you achieve your health and fitness goals. I have been involved with Coaching all levels of fitness with a variety of goals including fat loss, strength, performance and more. 

One of my biggest pet peeves in this industry is the big commercial gyms that are only interested in numbers. Gym membership is really just the price you pay for renting the equipment and most fitness instructors only get time to give you a quick cookie cutter programme (Usually involving a 10 min warm up, 15-20 mins on treadmill before your machine weights, a variation of Leg Press, Curls and Extensions followed by Chest Press, Lat PullDown/Row, Shoulder Press and Arms/Core, depending on the person and their time). And that is if you even get a chance to use those machines during peak hours in the gym! Most people don't get the second assessment and fall by the way side. It's not the instructor's fault, it's the system. And that is not what I want for my clients. It’s a system about money first and does not take into account your true goals!

We’ve all heard the stories. Personal Trainers out there who feel their main job is to make you as sore as possible and push you to the point of puking? That’s not Personal Training. Anyone can shout out enough exercises to make people feel that way. Soreness does not equal a great workout!

I can talk all day about why I think my style of Personal Training is different from a lot of different coaches out there. But I would rather show you in person to see if we are a right fit for each other.

That is why your first session will be absolutely FREE. There is no obligation to sign up if you feel that it not right for you after your first session.

Our first session will help determine your current fitness levels and give you the opportunity to tell me YOUR GOALS. And we base the training sessions off your goals!

Your personalised workouts are designed so that we are constantly reevaluating your progress to keep you on track. We tailor the sessions, and the amount of sessions per week, around your own lifestyle to make sure that they are realistic and sustainable in the long term. There's too much contradiction out there for what people should be doing. In my opinion, one size fits none. There's too many circumstances involved for one programme to fit everyone's needs. If you’re following exercises from online articles or your favourite trainer you are 100% not going to get the results you want because that programme is not based around you!

Every programme is based off your assessment so they are 100% unique to you. 

Each session can last anywhere between 40 minutes to over an hour, it is completely dependant on your programme rather than time.

I don’t offer single session prices as there is very little benefit for either of us to do just one session. That is just a workout. I’m not interested in giving you a hard workout just to make you get sick. I’m interested in training you the right way and build towards long term success. After your first free session, we can discuss what suits your goals as well as lifestyle and schedule, and build a training plan around it. I have my Personal Training Packages out lined below

Coach Seán Personal Training Systems Starter Package - 5 Weekly Sessions
5 weekly sessions with me to work on your specific Health and Fitness Goals. We will train together once a week and work off your goals and initial assessment to tailor the perfect programme for you. Get a taster for Personal Training with me. This is great for those that are gym members but just need a little push in the right direction.

Coach Seán Personal Training Systems S&C Package - 2 Sessions a Week for 5 Weeks
The most popular choice for Personal Training with me. Get a kickstart on your health and fitness goals today with this option. Two sessions a week, tailored to your needs and goals. If you want true results, you need to be in the gym at least twice a week along with getting your nutrition dialed in. When training twice a week, we are building a strong foundation and accountability in your training. With the 10 Session Package, I will guide you in the right direction.

Coach Seán Gold Standard Package
For those that need results right now! We sit down and go through your current lifestyle and make the necessary changes that are required to get results now. With Personal Training sessions 3 times a week (12 One to One Sessions a Month), this for those completely committed to get on the fast track to achieving their goals NOW. Only for those seriously committed and have the time to fully invest in their nutrition and training today. If you are finding it hard to balance your fitness and nutrition with day to day life, I would probably not recommend this option right now unless you had a major event coming up in the next 4-6 weeks.

Coach Seán Personal Training Systems Hybrid (In Person & Online Training) Plan
If you are in a gym, training but not making the progress you need, this is the perfect plan for you. Get the Coach Seán Fitness App that will have your tailored plan plus be able to connect with devices such as your Fitbit and have a direct line to me for ALL your training sessions. We meet up twice a month to monitor your progress and alter the programme based on your goals. If you are training for a while a feel like you have a decent grasp of the gym but need a trainer for accountability and to take you to the next level, this is the programme for you.
